Vantage Live

Live webcams that are actually live.

Most webcam apps show you a map full of pins. Tap one and you get a black screen, because that camera stopped working months ago and nobody noticed. Vantage Live checks every camera through the night, twice, thirty seconds apart. Not just whether it answers, but whether new footage is really coming in.

Six live cameras side by side in a grid A world map with clustered camera pins Two live cameras filling the screen

What it does differently

Six places at once

Other apps give you one camera at a time. Vantage Live puts six live streams side by side, all moving, all real.

Cameras that prove it

A frozen camera answers perfectly while showing the same still forever. We measure the stream twice and compare, so those never reach the map.

One purchase

The grid stops at six for free. Pro removes that limit for a single payment. No subscription, no ads, no trial that turns into a bill.

Privacy

Last updated 30 August 2026

Vantage Live has no accounts, does not ask who you are, and does not build a profile of you. Which camera you open, how long you watch it and what you save never leaves your iPhone. There are no advertising networks and no third-party trackers in the app. We do measure a small, named set of usage events, and they are listed below in full.

No account, no sign-up
The app works the moment you open it. There is nothing to register.
What stays on your device
Your favourites and your settings are stored on your iPhone only. They are never uploaded, and deleting the app removes them.
What our server sees
The app asks our server for the list of cameras. Like any request over the internet, that server sees the IP address it came from. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived request logs for security and for finding faults, which is how any hosted service works. We do not analyse those logs to follow people, we do not build profiles from them, and we never link them to anything else. There are no cookies, no identifiers and no advertising in the app.
What we measure
To know whether the app works and which parts get used, it sends four events to our own server at telemetry.noaber.ai. This is our own infrastructure, not an analytics company, and the data is never sold or shared. These four, and nothing else:

app.launched — the app was opened. Carries the app version, the device type, the language setting and the country the request came from.
catalogue.loaded — how many cameras the app received. This is how we notice when the nightly health check is throwing too many away.
feature.used — which of the four screens was opened: map, grid, discover or favourites. The screen, never the camera.
purchase.completed — Pro was bought, with the product and the price.

Each event carries a device identifier that is salted and hashed, so it counts as one device without being traceable back to a person or reusable in any other app. Nothing in these events says which camera you watched.
Location
Vantage Live never asks for your location. The app does not use it, does not store it and does not send it anywhere. You pick a place on the map yourself.
Camera streams
When you watch a camera, your device connects directly to the organisation that operates it, such as a road authority. That connection is between you and them, and their own privacy terms apply to it. We do not sit in between and we do not see what you watch.
Purchases
Vantage Live Pro is sold by Apple. Payment details go to Apple and never reach us. We only receive the answer to one question from your device: whether this device owns Pro.
The cameras themselves
Vantage Live only carries cameras that their owners publish openly: official public sources such as road authorities, harbours and tourist boards. Nothing pointed at a home, nothing anyone put online without meaning to share it. If a camera is in the app that should not be, mail us and it is gone the same day.
Children
The app collects no personal data at all, so there is nothing that could be collected from a child either.
Changes
If this ever changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything that affects you materially will be said in the app before it takes effect.
